Symptoms To Watch For In Aspiration

HARRY POTTER AND THE NEO-paganism

HARRY POTTER AND THE NEO-paganism
Patrick Star

articles and reviews have appeared recently, also signed by Catholic authors such as Michael Dolz the journal Catholic Studies, "which extolled the wonders of education contained in some 3,300 pages devoted to Harry Potter and his magic business, called it" the largest work ever written on the growth and education. " In addition to these voices cheering
shared by Rawling's work to that of Tolkien, there are other voices that criticism ignores the dominant or to silence, voices, like those of the undersigned, are not afraid to point out the negativity of a work worrying likely to be an accomplice in a neo-pagan secularism increasingly pervasive in Western culture. I confess honestly have not read the novel (the rest to deal with the three thousand three hundred pages of reading should be a good deal of time and heroism), but I saw the movie it inspired, so my complaint is not about value literary work, but the claim that the content is educational, indeed a means of formation for younger generations. I therefore limit myself to some points of observation and reflection

1) The characters move in a totally surreal and sensational, not so much inspired by fairies, goblins, or, at most, from wicked witches, as in fairy tales of our childhood but where the characters move in a normal human, but horrible and deformed monsters, along with Harry Potter, are the true protagonists of the story, all made even more impressive special effects. Applying Machiavellian phrase "the end justifies the means", we want to justify the saga pagan Wizards and superhuman beings who use miraculous powers but obscure the fact that in the struggle between good and evil in the end good prevails and triumphs. But what good is it? My impression is of being in front of a generic good, feel-good, which does not bind the conscience and therefore does not act as an element of training. A well that, moreover, can never be that, if only because the main character who carries it out, Harry Potter, is himself a magician, and then uses a tool, the magic in itself negative, serving as a model for new generations to whom there is nothing, if you do not want to be marginalized, who emulate him. Imitate the "heroic deeds" of a magician moves in a world outside of reality is really an appropriate education?
2) This representation of abnormal situations, outside of everyday life, so inimitable, even if they had a happy ending, could lead to the rejection of the boys daily life normally made of small things, small sacrifices, small duties, etc. of small actions. instead to be thrown into a frantic search for something sensational, the bizarre, magical, that could create a situation of schizophrenia in their fatal outbreaks of uncontrolled and dangerous irrationality that can lead to drug use, even among young .

3) enthusiasts of the novel sees the deeds of the protagonists even a religious message, without any reference to God are those who believe there is already so "politically correct" in the current climate of increasingly creeping secularization, replace Dante ( years already marginalized triumphantly) with Tolkien in school curricula, and even the magical saga of the struggle between good and evil, the lesson of religion. You can never talk about educational outcomes when it comes to suppress the religious dimension and replacing it with the magical sensation in practice with the world of the occult?
4) So, to be very real, what actually children learn from novels like this? A good family wanting more? A study more? To help others in the various needs? A live human virtues, which are expressed in firms almost never extravagant and noisy, but in small acts of daily life, such as patience, sincerity, loyalty, punctuality, order, etc..!?
The fruits that are being collected from novels or movies like that in all our eyes: in ten years have quadrupled declared pagans, witchcraft is becoming an exuberant fashion, and indeed an increasingly profitable business to the point that the esoteric feeding and hiding a turnover of 500 million euro, all exempted from the tax, while the churches are more and more deserted and replaced by invocations of Christian prayer and ritual magic, so much so that even the Christian holidays such as Christmas parties have become the only Santa Claus and in particular the witch.
bothers these days to hear talk of the devil and demonic possession, yet almost all the exorcists are in agreement that the first door to let the devil in one person in a family or society is just magic , even in jest. And we know that the devil is smart nell'illudere his victims but then ... what a terrible revenge takes in Serbia, with the result that, in addition evil on this earth to live, you may play for the soul for all eternity! Not for nothing that the Bishops appoint each year an increasing number of exorcists.
In conclusion, the problems of life are not addressed or resolved by the magic el'esoterismo but rather with the weapons of faith and prayer that require patience, humility, perseverance, but people never leave empty-handed. Prayer pays always pays off now with so much peace, serenity, joy and abandonment to the will of God, and often pays for itself over time to obtain from God through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, the very things that intercedes, including human resources, such as a job, a house, a healing and so on.
Therefore, this avalanche of post neo-pagans offered in a variety of ways for young people should be boycotted by Christians who should never cease to be a "sign of contradiction" in the midst of the pitfalls and the lure of the world.

my opinion? This is
Drugs!

First I love Harry Potter and not see anything .. Pagano
Secondly, I think this girl is crazy, then starting from the assumption that if something you have not even read depending on what the judge? did you film? and then you will understand, What's so anti-Christian films, do not think anyone has ever done looking at HP theological questions, God is never mentioned, and nothing replaces it, the magic of which you speak to which it relates as a stimulus to become pagans, for me who are pagan and not for Harry Potter, it offends me!
That magic has nothing to do with religious magic if it is so little call.
I do not think Rowling has ever exercised the presumption of converting people, it is an insult to her and her work for more .. not that believers of all religions, and defendants singled out just because they dream with a fantastic story .. although it had categorized as heathens!
stuff is crazy!
Third, a bark thing that made me laugh, and that .. mo says teach at school Harry Potter or Tolkien's saga? teaching our children to flee the relata for a world of fantasy? eh .. mo because until I tell them? is not the same, the story of the son of god born of a virgin?? walking on the water multiply the loaves and fishes, and raises the dead ..? EQUAL is not to be missed!!
:hehe:
some people would shut the!
